Sundays Are for Sunbathing

Well...well...well... if it isn't Tuesday already?! My goodness and my apologies for my tardiness in getting this post up, but I'm sure it will only take you one guess to know what has kept me from bloggin'...

That's right... recovering from the weekend! All together now...

WHAT A WEEKEND, WHAT A WEEKEND!

Remember the Alamo? You do? Really?! Cool... I haven't been there yet, but I HAVE been to San Antonio... twice! Mommy, Daddy and I headed out late Friday afternoon hoping to get to KK and Albi's house just in time for dinner at one of our SA fav's, El Marisol... YU-MMY!

By the time we were done with dinner it was WAY past my bed time and I was feeling it! It's hard to keep up these devilish good looks... a guy's got to have his beauty sleep... you know? And boy did I sleep... and sleep... and sleep right on through the night. And the next night I threw Mommy and Daddy another curve ball and slept through the night AGAIN... When I finally gathered the strength to open my eyes it was like they had been sitting there waiting on me... pacing up and down the hallway... geez, take a load off rents! To their credit... life IS probably pretty boring without my me and I get that...

So let's see... Saturday... what did we do on Saturday... OH YES! KK, Mommy and I headed to Hobby Lobby... C-O-O-L and got some stuff to make my Easter basket (shhh... I'm not supposed to know... the crazy broads thought I was asleep... ha!) and a few other special items Mommy needed for an art project she is working on. Once we traveled up and down what seemed like EVERY aisle...especially those marked 50% off we headed to lunch with my Aunt Emmie. The boys were all playing golf... I told them I was up for a round, but they said something about not wanting to lose to a 3-month old...? I don't know...

So that brings us to SUN-DAY... I got off to a slow start (remember the pacing parents?), so once I got my cup of jo and my breakfast we hit the trail... the walking trail that is. Albi, KK, Mommy, Daddy and I walked over 4 miles that morning... Stroller-thon here we come! It was nice to be out in nature, taking in all the sights and sounds of San Antonio.

From there we hurried home to meet Uncle Josh before his golf lesson (my skillz must have him shakin' in his boots...boat shoes...flip flops...running shoes...driving moccasins...my Uncle Josh has more shoes than any one man should have!) He's a handsome guy though isn't he? I think I might have a little of him in me...

After we sent Uncle Josh out the door with a "go get 'em" it was time to soak up some rays...

So as a baby I have to do my sunbathing a little backwards... I cover up outside and let it all hang out inside. This will protect me from becoming "mole-itis man" like my daddy.

My daddy hooked me up with a perfect spot on the porch... I had just dozed off when my mommy came over with the camera... "can I help you...?"

"Hurry mom...it's bright out here and I'm in the middle of the breast, I mean BEST dream!"

Fun in the inside-sun... catching some rays under the CFLs!!

Oh yah... so this picture... let me explain...

"Hey, Caden...can you do this," my Albi asks as he stuffs his ENTIRE fist in his mouth?

"Are you kidding me, ALBI? Can I do THAT?"

"Any questions...?"

What a great weekend! Thanks KK and Albi for letting me come visit... Mommy and Daddy talked about what a great time they had the WHOLE way home!

Love you grandrents! Love you more blog world!

LOVE YOU MOST BAYLOR BEARS!

(The "love order" above doesn't really mean ANYTHING... it's just for literary purposes!)
