School Days... First and Last

On May 23rd, Caden completed his third year of two-day a week "school." It's hard to believe he's been going for three years... it seems like just yesterday I was dropping him off in tears... only a few months later to find out that we'd have another little one on the way by the time he would start his second year of school.

We have been so blessed by our school, the teachers and leadership and most importantly the friends we've made. It has been a great experience for Caden and one I am so thankful we could provide for him. He has grown in ways that I don't think would have come as quickly had he not been in school. His shy-guy tendencies are mostly a thing of the past and I am not sure he would have come as far as fast without the safe place his school classes have provided him.

With all of that said, we have decided to keep Caden home for his last year before Kindergarten and so this last day of school was especially special since it would be our very last official last day of school before he starts the big leagues! But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves yet...

For now, I am going to focus on the year to come... the fun and challenges that lie ahead of us as we attempt to provide some sort of school structure in our home for both Caden and Kaki. I am excited about what God has in store for our family.

Now... a little comparison fun...
