Catch-up Lazy Lady Style Part II

I think I can, I think I can...

Put up at least one post each week! For the memories... the memories!! Thank you sweet Internet for capturing and holding these until I get my stuff together and print me off some books!

And here we go...

This was the beginning of our two weeks with RSV... on our way home from the doctor because I was insistent that he had the flu or something worse after going to Urgent Care the night before and him testing negative for flu... I wanted it done again! It was still negative... but the respiratory panel revealed it was that nasty RSV and that is one tough virus. I don't know how he's never gotten it before but wow... who knew a four year old could be so sick from RSV?! Not, us! It was so sad!

He had super high fever and did a lot of this... (in between his coughing fits of course!) Sweet boy!

And meanwhile this little booger just battled hers through her ears... :) But no fever for this little tyke!

In the midst of the sickness I got a sweet gem in the mail... It made waking up in the middle of the night to distribute various meds oh so easy! :) I finished the book in less than 48 hours!

Our MD told me to put Caden in our t-shirts with a light blanket at nights so he wouldn't get overheated but would still be comfortable... he loved getting to pick them out!!

Kaki doin' some work on the computer...

Cowgirl Lou Lou...

We made our sick days as fun as we could...

A little painting for our families for Valentine's Day! :)

Couch time...

Curly bow head...

Breakfast CHEESE!!

From both my cuties!!

Here are the heart pancakes we had Valentine's Day morning... they didn't make the actual Valentine's Day post! :)

Daddy with his Valentine...

Chatty came for the weekend a few weeks ago... SUCH fun! Caden and Kaki pretty much bossed her around all weekend... she was so sweet to oblige them! :)

Oops... heart pancake out of order...

Kaki and I made a trip to the ER one Sunday evening... not. fun.

We thought she had a UTI... and long story-short and another doctor's visit later... she just had some irritation which caused FEAR... and we all know how detrimental FEAR can be! Lovely little gem I've passed on to my children! :) But by the grace of God they'll get the FAITH too! :)

Big wheels... little girl...

Perks of having a prof. photog as your child's preschool teacher... she made a set in the playscape and took our little cuties' pictures! Can you handle it??!!!

YES! I'll be his Valentine ANY day!

We had some rainy day fun...

In Daddy's office chair...

Indoor roller coaster!!! WHOOOO HOOOOO!!

And we played some hide seek... (we do a lot of this) but this particular time I scored the JACKPOT of all hiding spots... scrub a dub dub, Mommy's in the bath tub!! It took them forever to find me... it was glorious... I mean, funny... I mean, awesome... I mean... they would have never found me and I almost let them! :) Kidding...

Or am I??? :)

Looks like Kaki knows a good thing when she sees one... same hiding place? Check!!

Random CHEESE!!

Performing in ALL his glory!!

Early morning trip to the HEB... donuts are required!! There was NO one there... it was awesome! 7:15 on Friday morning... try it!! You'll love it!

Kaki had a random cut get infected on her finger... a week later... but after a few days on antibiotics she was all better... crazy! Guess we really should clean and neo their cuts! :)

Kaki LOVES shoes... CHEESE!

Kaki and I FINALLY got to go on a fun lunch date with Daddy while Caden was at school a few weeks ago... LONG over due, but worth the wait!

Ain't no one gonna mess with this house... we got some super hero action!! Menacing, aren't they?!

Hey, ho! Texas Day!!

Nothing cuter than a little booty in jeans and boots!

When Chatty was here she taught me how to curl my hair with a straight iron... what? Game changer! I did it before a night out with my man... :)

Meet Scottie... the dog... I am pretty sure they think he's real... Scottie takes lots of abuse but does get equal amounts of lovin! (Such a fun gift... Aunt Emily, Uncle Josh!)

One day while Caden was at school Kaki and I were doing a Pinterest-inspired thigh workout... hilarious, is it not?!!

Rain, rain go away... we want to go outside TODAY!!

But we'll color instead...

Thanks to batman and his awesome coloring book Caden will color... it's crazy! In his four years of life he has NEVER sat and done this with me... BUT NOW... game on! I love to color!

Breakfast buddies...

Oh and Kaki loves to color too... but she prefers herself... no book needed, the world is her canvas!

Caden and his men... they take over our house...

And my cutie...

One of them...

And done! Whoo-hoo!!! Happy Monday!

Ok - you need to do a tutorial for the blog world on how to curl your hair with a straight iron?? Looks so cute and I have no idea how to do that! Great post of your precious kiddos!
