A Mommy and Caden Play Date!

Lately, Caden and I have become a little set in our ways... so today I decided we needed to step out there and do something new! But what to do, what to do? Isn't that always the question? I needed to be in the great outdoors because the thought of walking around IKEA or the mall was just depressing, but I needed the outdoor to be friendly to my lil man also. Even the pool has been warm lately... hmmmm...

So when in doubt, I do what any girl would do... GOOGLE it! Free+outdoor+children's+activities... Brushy Creek Water Park! PERFECT!! Let's go! So after lunch Cade-man and I lathered up and headed out to the Water Park. Caden was BY FAR the youngest one there, but we managed to have fun nonetheless! We sat on the ground and splashed in the spouts. We ran under the big fountains to escape the walls of water as they came crashing down on top of our heads... we were VERY wet and maybe even a little bit wild! :)

Once Cade-man starts toddling along it will be much more fun for him, but for now it is a great change of scenery and a great place for Caden to "stretch and grow!" (that one's for you Boozy!)

Obviously the water park is a pretty "hands-on" place so I didn't get any pictures of Caden in action but I took a picture of the park and then of Caden after all the action!

The best part about the Water Park is that we HAVE TO pass Sonic both to and from... and so we HAD TO stop. Caden loves Sonic almost as much as me... once he learns how to actually use the straw he'll love it the same...

For now he just practices...

Happy Hump Day everyone!

So proud of you for stepping out and finding something new and different. Way to go!!! Carter has that blue striped outfit that Caden is wearing. We have several of the same outfits, now we just need to get them together and get some pics! Love you!
