Nana and Bop's visit started off our Easter week. They left Palm Sunday and brought the kids their first round of Easter goodies... for which we were so thankful.
Then it was time to prepare our hearts for the upcoming celebration!
I'm not sure why KK was looking for a pic of my Dad but she was and when she sent it I thought he reminded me a bit of another guy I know...
On Wednesday of Easter Week we got a surprise package or TWO in the mail from KK and Albi!
The excitement was palpable!

AND a new outfit... THE CRAB outfit... she always wants to wear the CRABS! She loves CRABS!

I also benefited from Kk and Albi's gifting... a little crayon therapy..
Caden got lots of goodies too, but I didn't get his excitement on film! But he too was equally as thrilled with his packaged presents!
Kaki had a pony during Easter week...
And it aged her about 6 years... SO that next week I cut it all off... self-preservation at its finest. Pictures to come!
She loves wearing shoes... especially NEW shoes... those purple fantastics were a purchase she and her Daddy made together when left alone one day... oh my! Purple and neon yellow TOMS... yes!
We did a little Easter week learning and crafting!

I found and Easter week activity calendar on Pinterest and really enjoyed doing it with the kids that week! It was a fun way to celebrate Easter... the real Easter!
At the end of the week you have a whole line of papers that tell the story!

Kaki was so excited to sport her new Daytripper shirt! If y'all don't watch the Daytripper, tune into your local PBS station and check it out. They are dear friends!
This was Kaki's first time to use her new machine... she was thrilled...
Easter weekend finally came and we started off slow...
And all together in the bed!!

Then it was time for soccer...
Kaki girl yet again... accessorized and ready to cheer! DIVA!
They won! And Caden scored! WHOO HOO!!!
Saturday night we decided to do FAM DATE NIGHT instead of trying to do something Easter Sunday... it was the perfect choice! We took some pics...
And Caden did his signature move... OH MY LANTA!
And the other side... sideways Lou with a chocolate stache!
Then it was time for the BIG event... Jesus' Resurrection! Yes... that of course was HUGE! And we are so thankful, but the Easter Bunny came too... to remind us of that GREAT gift!
We keep it simple on Easter... one big gift and some eggs... they got beach towels with hoods... YAY??!???! :)
But let's be honest... it's all about the eggs!! Primed and ready... On your mark...get set... GO!!!!
Caden had his fastest pair of shoes on... BUT forgot his pants!
A little air in the derriere never hurt nobody!
SUCCESS!
Then it was time to hustle up and get ready for church!
My little khaki and white polka-dotted cuties!! Love them!!
And love EASTER and the freedom that it brings!
