KK Comes to Play...

So... Cousin Camp...

was fun...

BUT our fun wasn't over that week...

After Cousin Camp we raced home in time for Caden to take his very FIRST golf lesson!

He did great and had an awesome time!! I snapped a quick pic before he left... he DID NOT want Kaki in the picture but it was unavoidable! Justin captured some great shots with his phone, so I'll have to post those later... this golfin' dude deserves a post of his own!

Meanwhile... back at the ranch, Kaki and I were gearing up for KK to come and visit!! We were SO EXCITED for her to come and play...

I'm not sure I even remember why this little one was throwing a tantrum in the midst of KK prep... BUT she was...

And I found it hilarious! :)

So KK got here on Monday around lunch and we took off and running!

We had lots of fun around the house that afternoon and planned our fun for the next few days...

Which included...

The Monument for breakfast!! YUMMO!!

And the KIDDIE PARK!!! 

Kaki had never gotten to go like Caden had! Caden was probably just a bit younger than Kaki when KK took him to the park in San Antonio... I was so excited to watch Kaki have the thrills of her first amusement park! We are so glad KK was there to watch too! :)

And of course Caden was old hat and had a great time showing Kaki the ropes! :)

There were hardly any people there and it was a cool, breezy morning... hard to believe, but it was perfection! KK bought the kids the family pack or some craziness like that and that meant they each got to ride every ride twice... YAY!!

KK and I got to participate in this one... actually, I hopped up on the horse once, not having read the sign on the outside of the fence that said NO adults are allowed to ride the horses... OOPS!! I felt SO bad when I got called out by one of the workers... I had just disobeyed the rules in front of my kids... NOT ideal!! :) But I apologized all over myself and I think it was a good learning lesson for all of us!! :) Hehe!

Planes...

It was such a fun morning for the kiddos and KK and I too! There is nothing better than seeing those two with smiles as wide as Texas is big!

The next day we went to the park, took a walk, saw the CUTEST baby deer, and then the BIG event... the WAVE CRASHER! We painstakingly set it up and then it was time for the fun! Caden and Kaki loved it and KK was gracious enough to stand there and spray it down since neither one of us were strong enough tot get the spray handle off the hose so we could hook it up to the slide appropriately!

We used that thing all weekend... because guess what?? KK was SO SUPER COOL and let us keep the slide at our house!! I mean it's only fair... KK has a pool and we just have a big backyard! :) Sob, sob... :)

KK was a HUGE help to me while she was here watching the kids while I got out and about to accomplish a few things that needed to be done! We are always so thankful for the help KK offers when she is here and the fun she brings along with her! She brings prizes... takes us shopping... cleans our kitchen and shares all her love!! We appreciate Albi sharing her too! :) The only thing better than KK coming would be if Albi could come too... ;)
